At Marine way dental there has been some personal news to share with everyone.  Victoria, our hygienist, has moved to Toronto to get married.  Congrats to her and her fiance! Paula will be taking her place. 

Heena, our CDA, is expecting her first child very soon.  Exciting news for her and her husband, Tevor!

Well so far in this short season the results are mixed.  Goal tending is fine. There will be ups and downs with that.

Ryan Kesler will need time to regain his former self.  Zack Kassian is coming along slowly after a quick start. Jason Garrison needs time to mesh with the team.  The Sedins and Burrows are fine.  Only time will tell what is going to happen. As long as the team makes the playoffs then anything can happen.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our patients and their families!  If you haven't been to see us all year make it a point to come in before Christmas.  Dental benefits that are not used by year end are not carried forward to the next year.  We will be closed after December 22nd so call us as soon as possible!

If you haven't been in the office in a year or so why not call the office for a "Spring Cleaning" and check up.  With the new low dose digital xrays and oral cancer screening device (velscope), we can spot minor problems before they become major.

Well the season ended with a thud.  The aggressive play of the LA Kings coupled with great goal tending by Jonathan Quick was too much of a mountain for the Canucks to climb.  Without the offense of Daniel Sedin and an injured Ryan Kessler there was not much the Canucks could do to score more goals than the Kings.  Hopefully we can loook forward to next year.

Well here we go again.  The Canucks are pushing for the final drive.  Hopefully Daniel Sedin was not too seriously injured by the illegal hit from Duncan Keath.

THe Lions did it.  From 0 - 5 to the Grey Cup Champs.  It doesn't get any better.  The Lions showed that they could overcome adversity and gel as a team.  They believed in each other and through hard work and team work they over came the obstacles and won the Grey Cup.  Travis Lulay: MOP and Grey Cup MVP  -- what a ride!!!  We can all learn lessons from the Lions -- always believe in yourself and no matter how bleak it looks hard work and determination can bring about good things!!

As many of our patients are aware dental plans have yearly limits that coincide with a December 31st year end.  Please check with your plan if your limit has been used up.  Don't wait till the last minute to call the office to make an appointment to "use" up the limit.  Why not make it a "pre - Christmas " priority to review your limits and make an appointment.  If in doubt please call either office and speak to the recptionist to clarify your remaining limit for the year.

Roar you Lions Roar!!  BC lions after an 0 - 5 start have accomplished the ultimate goal.  They have placed themselves to compete for the Grey Cup.  All things being equal The Lions should prevail.  Hopefully Buck Pierce won't come back and haunt the Lions with a win!!  Go Lions Go!!
